Commonsense Inc.

Commonsense Inc. ist ein japanisches Animationsstudio, das am 18. November 1996 als Tochterunternehmen des Studios Pierrot Plus, einem Tochterunternehmen von Pierrot, von Osamu Shimizu gegründet wurde. Der Hauptsitz befindet sich zur Zeit im Bezirk Nerima der Stadt Tokio. Das Unternehmen war früher eher bekannt unter dem Namen Arms Corporation.

Zu den Hauptaufgaben des Unternehmens gehören der Verkauf, die Planung und die Produktion von Animationen. Der ursprüngliche Zweck der Firma, weswegen sie gegründet wurde, war die Produktion von Hentai-Anime.

Am 31. August 2017 wurde das Unternehmen in Commonsense Inc. umbenannt und Pierrot Plus in St.Signpost.CO.,Ltd. Dabei wurde die aktuelle Website des Unternehmens geschlossen.

Am 31. Mai 2020 wurde entschieden, das Unternehmen aufzulösen. Seit dem 22. Juli 2020 läuft die Liquidation des Unternehmens.

Commonsense Inc. is a Japanese animation studio that was founded on the 18th November 1996 as subsidiary of the studio Pierrot Plus, which is a subsidiary of Pierrot, founded by Osamu Shimizu. The headquarters are currently located in the Nerima district of the city of Tokyo. The company used to be known under the name Arms Corporation.

Part of the company’s main tasks are disposal, planning and production of animations. The original reason for the founding of the company was the production of hentai anime.

On the 31st August 2017, the company was renamed Commonsense Inc. with the name change of Pierrot Plus to St.Signpost.CO.,Ltd. In doing so, the current website of the company was shut down.

On the 31st May 2020, it was decided to dissolve the company. The liquidation of the company has been going on since the 22nd July 2020.
