Anime: Previously Postponed Sailor Moon TV Series Will Air in July
Veröffentlich am von Sephi-The new Sailor Moon TV series has been announced quite some time ago, but now it was stated that the new anime will premiere in July. Also, it was said that this new series is not supposed to be a remake of the previous anime, but an adaption of the original manga series by Naoko Takeuchi.

 | Toei Animation will once again take up their role as the animaton studio for this series and it will be directed by Munehisa Sakai (One Piece, Suite Precure). Takeuchi's manga has been launched in the Nakayoshi magazine in 1992 and it quickly gained a huge fan base. Several adaptions like TV series, animated movies, live-action projects, musicals and more were produced shortly after. In celebration of the 20th anniversary in 2012 not only a new musical has been announced, but the manga series has been republished and this new TV series has been announced as well. The series was originally expected for summer 2013, but was postponed. An English release of the manga was published by Kodansha Comics. |
