studio MOTHER Inc. ist eine japanische Planungs- und Produktionsfirma von Anime mit Sitz im Bezirk Suginami der Stadt Tokio. Die Firma wurde im Mai 2019 gegründet.

Ursprünglich durch Voyager Holdings Inc. gegründet, welche die Rechte am kompletten »Space Battleship Yamato« Franchise besitzt, investierte bereits im selben Jahr Bandai Namco Arts in das Unternehmen. Mittlerweile ist der größte Aktionär Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc., die auch zur Bandai-Namco-Firmengruppe gehört.

Bis zu seinem Tod im Jahr 2022 war Yukinao Shimoji der Präsident des Unternehmens, der diese Aufgabe zuvor bei XEBEC inne hatte. Danach übernahm Naoki Hiramatsu die Leitung des Unternehmens.

Originally founded by Voyager Holdings Inc., owner of the rights to the entire “Space Battleship Yamato” franchise, Bandai Namco Arts invested in the company in the same year. By now, the largest shareholder is Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc., which is also part of the Bandai Namco Group.

Until his death in 2022, Yukinao Shimoji was the president of the company, having previously held this position at XEBEC. Naoki Hiramatsu then took over the company’s management.
