Funimation Global Group, LLC ist Joint-Venture-Unternehmen, das von Sony und Aniplex Ende Juli gegründet wurde, um ihre internationalen Streaming-Dienste gemeinsam zu stärken. Der Geschäftsführer des Unternehmens ist dabei Colin Decker.

Durch dieses Joint Venture ist es Funimation möglich, auch einzelne Titel über Aniplex-Tochterunternehmen wie Wakanim und Madman zu veröffentlichen. Seit August 2021 gehört auch Crunchyroll zum Unternehmen. Anfang 2022 wurde das Joint-Venture-Unternehmen in Crunchyroll, LLC umbenannt.
