New Black Butler Anime Adaption Has Been Greenlit

posted on by Sephi-
The cover page of Square Enix' GFantasy magazine revealed that a new anime series for the Black Butler manga will be coming soon.

Yana Toboso's shounen manga is being published under the name "Kuroshitsuji" in Japan since 2006 in the GFantasy magazine, which is released monthly. It currently consists of 16 compiled volumes.

In 2008 through 2009 the manga was already adapted as a 24-episode-long TV anime, and another 12-episode-long original anime followed in 2010. After two musicals a first live-action movie will air in Japanese cinemas this Saturday.
